The Challenge

Dolmio wanted to run a promotion in SuperValu in conjunction with the supermarket’s Real Rewards customers.

The promotion was branded Dolmio Family Fun Days, and encouraged customers to buy the brand for a chance to win a family activity or day out. The mechanic saw SuperValu customers buying a specially labelled Dolmio product, and then scanning their Real Rewards card at checkout to be automatically entered into the draw for a Family Fun Day prize

The objective was to get Dolmio / SuperValu Real Rewards customers to “live the brand” by enjoying an activity the whole family could do together.

The Programme

Allgo created a themed Family Fun Day voucher which could be used on to book dozens of fantastic family fun day activities from all over Ireland. From visits to the zoo, to family cinema tickets, activity centres, rock climbing, hill walking, petting farms, water sports, go karting and mazes, the voucher gave prize winners a great family day out.

The Family Fun Day vouchers offered activities to appeal to families with children ranging from tots to teenagers, located anywhere across the country where there is SuperValu store.

The bespoke vouchers Allgo created to fulfil the brief meant that the promotion could live up to its billing of families spending some fun, quality time together, thanks to Dolmio.
