Savills Ireland has been at the forefront of the Irish Property market for more than 50 years. With over 200 employees in Dublin, Cork and Belfast, Savills Ireland is a full service real estate advisory firm covering the entire of Ireland (including Northern Ireland).
Savills Ireland operates an annual performance bonus scheme for employees. Bonus payments are made in March each year. Savills HR wanted to make these bonus payments as tax-efficient as possible (both for the employer and employees). With a small HR team, they also needed to make sure that admin was kept to a very minimum, and they wanted to ensure the bonus payment utilised Savills branding prominently.
Allgo offered Savills the Allgo Rewards Mastercard gift card, with enhanced branding and services to ensure it delivered on all requirements.
Once the bonus amounts had been calculated, Savills HR provided Allgo a spreadsheet list of employee names and departments, together with the bonus amount for each employee, ranging from €250 – €500.
Allgo designed and printed full colour Savills Ireland card carriers to present the Allgo Rewards Mastercard gift cards in. Allgo then produced the cards in batches for each department with the employee name, department and Savills logo printed on the outside of the Allgo Rewards gift card envelope.
Allgo arranged for secure delivery of the cards to the Savills Ireland HR team at an agreed time for distribution internally. Allgo also provided Savills HR with a spreadsheet of all card numbers for reporting and traceability. Savills HR were able to distribute the cards to all employees across all locations within 2 working days.
On receiving the cards, the employees could spend them straight away without further activation or registration. The Allgo Rewards Mastercard is a universal gift card that can be used in store and online wherever the Mastercard© Acceptance Mark is displayed.
Savills employees saved up to €542 each in tax on their bonus and with the Allgo Rewards Mastercard gift card that they could spend their saving practically anywhere. Savills Ireland saved over €10,000 in employer PRSI on the annual bonus payments. Savills HR were able to administer the programme on time with the minimum of overhead and with full traceability.
Savills Ireland branding was prominent on all cards, reinforcing the employer brand at the point of spending the card, and providing for positive employee word-of-mouth.
